Membership of the Society brings a number of benefits. As well as our free publications 'Cervus' and 'Nature in North East Essex' there is the opportunity to attend a number of fascinating talks and walks both inside and in the field.

Active members help to shape the future of wildlife in the county with field trips to record everything from tiny beetles and rare butterflies to huge flocks of wading birds and resident populations of seals. Our activities influence the legacy of nature that will be passed on to future generations. Whether you are an expert or a beginner, young or old there is a place for you in the CNHS.
